A Busboys and Poets in-house series! “LIVE! from Busboys” is an open mic talent showcase that offers a platform for all performers, not just poets. Whether you are a musician, comedian, dancer, actor, magician or any other type of performer, we want to see what you got! Come out and showcase your talents!

Every third Friday of the month I host the LIVE! open mic series at Busboys and Poets Hyattsville. BBnP is know for its poetry open mics and events, but LIVE! is when folks can bring whatever talent they want to showcase. Whether it be singing, dancing, telling jokes, burping the alphabet… you name it, we’ll welcome your talent. (if you are going to burp the alphabet, please read the word talent with quotes).
LIVE! is on tonight from 10-midnight. Tickets are $5.00. You can purchase tickets on the busboys website or at the bookstore in the front of the restaurant. BBnP Hyattsville is located at 5331 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD 20781.
