Busboys and Poets in-house series! “LIVE! from Busboys” is an open mic talent showcase that offers a platform for all performers, not just poets. Whether you are a musician, comedian, dancer, actor, magician or any other type of performer, we want to see what you got! Come out and showcase your talents!
Tonight’s LIVE! from Busboys is hosted by: Angie Head
$5 cover. On the day of the event, tickets can be purchased online here starting at midnight and in the restaurant starting at 10:00 AM (cash only). No refunds. Ticket purchase limit of 4 per person. Tickets will be sold at the door if available. Guests must have their wristbands (tickets) on upon entering the event.
Seating is available on a first come, first seated basis. No saved or reserved seats are allowed. Failure to check in within 30 minutes of advertised start time may result in a forfeiture of seats.

Every third Friday of the month I host the LIVE! open mic series at Busboys and Poets Hyattsville. BBnP is know for its poetry open mics and events, but LIVE! is when folks can bring whatever talent they want to showcase. Whether it be singing, dancing, telling jokes, burping the alphabet… you name it, we’ll welcome your talent. (if you are going to burp the alphabet, please read the word talent with quotes).
LIVE! is on tonight from 10-midnight. Tickets are $5.00. You can purchase tickets on the busboys website or at the bookstore in the front of the restaurant. BBnP Hyattsville is located at 5331 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD 20781.
